Pastor and First Lady
Reverend Jackson and Marilyn were welcomed as the new Pastor and First Lady on Sunday, November 4, 2012. First Lady Marilyn is recognized as a Master Teacher and Interventionist. She brings 20 years of experience in the educational field to her recently-appointed position of Principal of Wood Elementary School in Tempe, AZ . She is currently working on her Doctorate from Grand Canyon University.
Pastor Jackson states that, “God has appointed us to accomplish what only God Himself has planned. God has called me to preach. He has called my wife Marilyn, First Lady of Mt. Moriah to teach. God has called our church membership to serve in the name of Jesus Christ by meeting individuals and families at their point of need. Together we provide a unique blend of obedience to build the kingdom of God within and outside the walls of Mt. Moriah, the MECCA in the desert, a place where God provides.”
Pastor and First Lady are blessed with a blended family of five grown children, plus five grandchildren, with the latest addition being Margaret “Maggie” Pereira, born on Sunday, October 6, 2013.
